The interior is a bit simple, but the food is definitely tastier, better and cheaper than the fast food giants around. Absolutely to suggest. Very nice service.

Something else is nice 😒, so I didn't feel satisfied! The atmosphere is rocked down, is generally restless, it wasn't really clean either and the service made an unmotivated and stressed impression. The food wasn't really nice, everything was put on a plate that was too small, didn't look really appetizing, the meat was crumbly and dry with the Agnus burger you would have expected for € 16.50 more, somehow carelessly and unprofessionally prepared, so not worth the money! In my opinion, the Lara's with such a quality could only live from through traffic, too bad ... ... if you are in Bokel, I would rather go to one of the fast food restaurants!

Very nicely decorated, very friendly staff and the food was awesome. It is worth eating there. Wanted to have the cook to take with me when we paid. Had 1x Schnitzel Nightdream (with 2 eggs) and fried potatoes and Schnitzel Nightdream Spezial Schnitzel (300g with 3 eggs) also with fried potatoes. Delicious.

Food is far too expensive, we were the only guests with 10 people on Sunday afternoon, the waitress didn't feel like working at all. Dishes were not cleared, drink intake only after ages and only after requests. Simply not a nice visit.

Food is considerably more expensive and smaller portions. Nobody said enough

Mixed schnitzel teller was perfect! Also quick and friendly service - I can really recommend this place.

My friend and I drove here all the way from Hamburg - I call myself an (un)professional diner tester! One of our top priorities are a place's milkshakes. These here had a nice presentation (4/5). The diner has three kinds of milkshakes (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry with misleading info about additional seasonal flavours, and the taste of the chocolate shake was a bit watery, but fine (3/5). The menu incorporates local cuisine as well, and gives typical German and Northern German dishes American-vibe names. Also, the menu has American cuisine that is less typical, like mexican rice pans. We appreciate that Lara's Diner supports local cuisine! There is one vegetarian option per food type (so one veggie burger, one veggie burrito, one veggie nacho dish,...). We rate the taste 4/5, and the food overall 4/5. While the decoration and the blue-white colours of the booths have a nice aesthetic, unfortunately, the atmosphere suffers quite a bit because of the music. The jukebox is broken, and the TV plays charts music. For us, this is a 1/5, but only because of the looks. Finally, we found the service not so friendly. Overall, this diner gets a 3/5 rating!
